Although there has been no official release date set for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), a recent article in VGC suggests that PC gamers will not have to wait as long as some previously thought. According to Andy Robinson, Editor-in-Chief of VGC, there are growing industry reports that Rockstar Games is considering breaking from past practice and releasing the PC version much sooner than in previous releases.
GTA 6 is currently scheduled to be released on November 19, 2026, exclusively for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles. At this point, Rockstar has confirmed neither a PC build of the game nor a definite release date, therefore all present speculation about when the PC version will arrive is still unconfirmed.
Rockstar’s past strategies for PC game releases and the evolving console market might suggest a sooner-than-expected launch.

“simply due to all that is happening.”
Speculation Grows Over Early PC Release for Grand Theft Auto 6

There is still no officially confirmed release date for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6.
However, VGC is reporting that this could mean the wait for PC gamers will be shorter than previously expected. As stated in a recent article from VGC, Andy Robinson, Editor-in-Chief of VGC, has reported there are increasing rumors within the gaming community that Rockstar Games will break with tradition and release the PC port much sooner than they have done so in the past. Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on November 19, 2026 and will only be available on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 systems. At this time, Rockstar has not confirmed whether they are developing a PC build of GTA 6 or when it will arrive.
Therefore, all claims made about the PC version of GTA 6 are currently unsubstantiated.
Corsair stated previously that GTA 6 would likely be released on PC within a short time after its initial release on consoles.

However, since then, Rockstar has pushed back the date of the game’s official release (to November 2026), and therefore, Corsair’s previous statements may not accurately represent current expectations.
In addition to ramping up their promotional activities for GTA 6 by showing off some of the game play footage from the PlayStation 5; it is possible that we will learn more about whether there will be a PC version of the game after the console versions are released in November. Robinson indicated that if he were correct, it would appear that Rockstar may release a PC edition of GTA 6 much earlier than they have done with many of their other products in the past.
