A striking new visual of Rika and Yuta Okkotsu created by Gege Akutami has been unveiled for the JUJUTSU KAISEN Final Exhibition taking place in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district. This compelling image is being used as the primary advertising material for the exhibition’s final segment scheduled to take place from December 25, 2026, to January 25, 2027 at the Sankaku Hiroba located within the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building (excluding a one-day closure on January 1).
For this concluding installment, the exhibition is officially referred to as the Gege Akutami JUJUTSU KAISEN Final Exhibition. The JUJUTSU KAISEN Final Exhibition has traveled across Japan since its debut in 2024 and will now finish its tour in Shinjuku. You can view the newly released artwork below. The original manga series titled JUJUTSU KAISEN by Gege Akutami officially concluded on September 30, 2024. The manga debuted in March 2018 and ran for approximately six-and-a-half years resulting in a total of thirty volumes. Volumes twenty-nine and thirty of the series were released simultaneously on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media holds the licensing rights for the English language publication of the series.
Exploring the JUJUTSU KAISEN Universe: Anime, Film, and the Modulo Spin-off
The television anime based on the JUJUTSU KAISEN franchise consisted of two seasons produced by Studio MAPPA along with a theatrical film. All of these are available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The story revolves around Yuji Itadori, an exceptionally talented high school student who joins a school for jujutsu practitioners after meeting Sukuna Ryomen, Satoru Gojo, and Megumi Fushiguro. In order to avoid an execution order due to his consumption of one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji is given the task of finding and consuming the remaining nineteen pieces of the strongest sorcerer ever known, ultimately leading to his demise.
However, this journey proves to be fraught with unexpected challenges. On September 8, 2025, a short spin-off manga titled Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo began serializing in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41. Volume two of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo was published on March 4, and volume three and the last installment was published on May 1. An animated promotional video was distributed after the completion of the series.
